Sometimes a medical history and physical exam are not enough to determine your child's diagnosis during an acute illness.  In other instances, screening laboratories may be indicated to make sure he or she is healthy during well-child examinations.

Many clinics send these tests to an outside lab for analysis and have to wait for results that typically take a few hours to several days to come back to provide the necessary information.

For this reason, Argenal Pediatrics has invested in obtaining state of the art clinic based laboratory equipment that allows you to obtain results within a few minutes.  Having these results quickly can mean the difference between needing medicine or not; being hospitalized for an illness, or being able to go home confident that everything is ok.

Please note that any laboratory not done in-house will be sent to a reference lab of your choice (or as per your insurance contract). In these instances, an additional bill might be sent by them for their services.
